Michael Harrison in association with Cameron Mackintosh presents the spectacular new production of MISS SAIGON as Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical is reborn. The soaring score features hit songs including; “The Heat is On”, “The Movie in My Mind”, “Last Night of the World” and “The American Dream”.
Prior to the West End, this epic production arrives at the Theatre Royal Nottingham as part of a major UK and Ireland Tour.
In the last days of the Vietnam War, 17 year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer. There she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he's fathered a son.
Set to star will be Julianne Pundan making her professional debut as Kim, Seann Miley Moore as The Engineer, Jack Kane as Chris, Dom Hartley-Harris as John, Emily Langham as Ellen, Mikko Juan as Thuy, and Thao Therese Nguyen as Gigi.
The company will also include Bea Ward as Alternate Kim, Aaron Teoh as Alternate for The Engineer, Jamil Abbasi, Aaron Aisoni, Daniel J Brian, Ann-Marie Craine, Luoran Ding, Ben Fenwick, Aaron Gonzales, Owen Johnston, Evita Khrime, Caleb Lagayan, Rayhan Lee, Zina Lin, James Mateo-Salt, Shania Montevalde, Ryan Ocampo, Julius Sahr, Tonny Shim, Kerry Spark, Aimee Yue and Carmen Zhu.
